We would like to send you an update during this trying time, as wildfires have officially entered Transylvania County. Transylvania County School campuses are currently not in evacuation zones; therefore, they will remain open. We are in communication with Transylvania County Emergency Services and will continue to work with them to monitor the situation. As our county has been placed in a code purple, we have suspended all outdoor activities for students and will continue to make adjustments as needed. We understand that many of you have been impacted by these wildfires and we are here for you; please reach out to your child’s school for additional support. A tremendous thank you goes out to our first responders, who have been working tirelessly during the past week, and always, to keep our communities safe.
