Brevard High School will host Driver Education classes after school, Monday through Friday, from October 7 through October 18 from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM in the school media center. Students' date of birth must be on or before 4/7/2010 to be eligible for the class. Registration is avaiable at https://www.mtnpro.com/bhsform

Transylvania County Schools will have Virtual Learning Days on Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27, 2024 for all students. All school buildings will be Closed for students and students will learn from home.
During Virtual Learning Days, K-12th grade teachers assign student work via Google Classroom. In addition, teachers are available by email from 8:00 AM to Noon. Students will have 5 days to complete work from the first day you return to school.
If you have any questions or your student has trouble accessing their Google Classroom, please contact your child's teacher. Thank you for your understanding and please be safe.

Seniors! It's time to order your Graduation announcements, accessories, senior apparel and your cap and gown! Representatives of the Herff Jones Company will be here on Tuesday, October 1st from 1PM-2PM, to take orders for graduation announcements and caps and gowns for the senior class.
A $80.00 down payment is required for all graduation announcement orders. You can also order online @ scherffjones.com.
Graduation announcement down payments m ay be made by money order, cashier's check, cash, credit card, or check.
Any junior or senior who has not ordered their class ring may do so at this time. Extra ring packets are available in the office.
Transylvania County is proud to have the Marine Corp JROTC program serving all three of its high schools. The cadets gathered on Wednesday for their promotion ceremony at Brevard High School. Parents and members from the community attended the event and were invited to do pushups with the cadets to begin the program. Then the cadets were given their promotional ranks and insignia pins. The MC JROTC program is focused on preparing students to become better citizens. #TCSTogether
On September 19th, students will receive a flu shot flyer that contains a Survey Monkey link. The link will allow parents to fill out the flu shot form electronically. There will be paper copies in both English and Spanish in the High School office if parents would like a hard copy.
Upcoming Event: PSAT offered for 10th & 11th
Juniors who score high on the PSAT may earn honors to list on college/scholarship applications, including the National Merit Scholarship. (10th graders may take the test for practice.) Due to the amount of rain predicted to hit our area towards the end of the week, the football game scheduled at home for this Friday has been moved to Cherokee. Cherokee has a turf field, so playing there will help protect our field for the many more home games we have scheduled this season. Kickoff will be at 7:30. Please come out to support our Tigers!
